Day One - Arrival Transfer
On arrival in Bodrum you will be greeted by one of our representatives and transferred to Hotel Kalender which will be your home for the next 4 nights. After check in the rest of the day is yours to take your time to relax and unwind or explore the sights of Bodrum.
Day Two - Traditional Turkish Village Tour
After a freshly prepared Turkish style breakfast you will depart for the breath taking scenic drive up to a Traditional working Turkish village for a cultural day. Anybody who has travelled extensively will tell you that the Turks are the friendliest people in the world.
The authentic villages located inlands can help you to examine the different aspects of the same region. Even, half an hour distance makes a big change of environment, colours, sounds as well as the lifestyle of people. Walking through small streets, visiting a village house, the hot welcome of the village chief, watching women weaving carpets, the cemetery, the mosque, children shouting 'hello', the coffee house where men sit around and laze away the day while drinking their tea chatting and playing games will all be helpful to understand their life. In the end, a short exhibition of carpets weaved by the young ladies of the village will take place.
At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day Three - Free Day
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as there is no rush as you have a free day to spend exploring this fascinating resort of Bodrum.
You could visit V the Castle of St. Peter, the symbol of Bodrum. The Crusader castle was built by the Knights of St. John between 1402 and 1409. After being defeated in Smyrna (The ancient name of Izmir), the Knights came to Halikarnassos and began the construction of the castle.The Amphitheatre is another one of Bodrum's most popular historical attractions. The Theatre is located on the hillside overlooking Bodrum. Built in the time of Mausolus, it is one of the very few surviving pre-Hellenistic theatres in Asia Minor and thus one of the oldest. It had a seating capacity of about 13.000 spectators. The hillside theater that dates from the 4th century BC was built to seat 5.000 people. When rediscovered, it was not in very good condition and therefore has been recently restored. The view of the town from there is beautiful. No holiday to Bodrum would be complete without a visit to the Mausoleum and See what is left of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Day Four -BBQ Picnic Opportunity
After breakfast you will be driven to a picturesque picnic area in the Bodrum area, where you will be dropped off and your driver will return at the negotiated time. On arrival at the picnic area you will be given the opportunity to purchase the food of your choice, once you have chosen your food you can use one of the grills provided to BBQ your meal to your own taste. After a relaxing picnic day you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of your evening.
Day Five - Departure Transfer
After breakfast you will have free time to finish your exploration of Bodrum City, before its time to check out and be transferred to your departure point for you onward journey home.
